Lizzie and Garbo
24th Nov 2011
I got back from Harry Potter World last week and I am still slightly jetlagged.
I am just not cut out for the international life of a pop star, you know. Not that I am or resemble a pop star in any way, though I DID SEE A MEMBER OF FORMER BOYBAND SENSATION, "A1", yesterday. (Sadly, not the one with the 'curtains').
I do miss the land of the dreams. They separate M&M's over the pond. I am told they 'come like that' in bags, but I think they just didn't want us to feel bad... if they did separate them for "us" (I mean, me: I ate them. Just me.) then please know this: I love you.
I had such a fun time in Orlando and did lots of filming, evidence of which can be seen in Ethereal , Things and Superheroes. But there is a load of stuff to be edited which includes the wonderful Katie Leung, Alfie Enoch and Devon Murray. And I am thrilled to announce that Alfie and Katie are joining the Flat White Cousin Clan as Cousins Pygmalion and Penelope. We are filming the videos very soon and I cannot wait.
More news on this and future cousin introductions soon....
I came back to the UK with my longest ever To-Do list, it spans the length of 2*30cm rulers.
This is mainly because I have just opened my Pindippy Store !
My house has become a swirl of envelopes and sellotape, stickers and papercuts. I now own a guillotine, though it does not work very well so I end up using the guillotine and then trimming with scissors: not entirely time-saving.
I am thrilled with all the positive comments and the Evening Standard even did a very kind article about me which you can see here. They even mentioned by Tasmanian heritage and my video about La La land, which I still find incredibly difficult to watch.....
Oh and HOOTY and BOOKWORM are selling quite quickly so if you would like one, hollar. (Holla? Holler?)
I have to tell you about Draw My Story . The lovelytalentedawesomeandnice illustrator Lizzie Mary Cullen did 48 hours of SOLID drawing, whereby the story was created by tweets coming in, and she created as people tweeted. Very social networky creativey. Anyway, her illustrations are just brilliant and her website is here. I met her when she was a just 4 hours in to the marathon and she STILL has not finished...I am in awe.
And finally, I met one of the coolest ladies I've ever met within Topshop. Her name is Garbo and she told me (a few times) that she has an agent. Despite this, she very kindly let me take a photo of her. I want to be her when I grow up.
That's all for now.
I hope you enjoy the forthcoming videos and stuff!
And if you have purchased a Pindippy Parcel, THANK YOU!
If not, I have just bought a load of 'Festive' packaging. That's all I need to say.
Love Jessie xxx
P.s (what I meant is that if you did decide to get something, then it would be festively wrapped and it would be enjoyable for all parties....thanks...)
